Poetry HW2

1. Concrete feels and look like a cold, lifeless, rough dried block of dried cement and it taste like dirt (I think, I have never tasted concrete before)

2. A rose looks romantic, lively, colorful and elegance. A rose can feel soft and thorny and it taste a bit bitter if you taste it raw.

3. The tone of this poem is hopeful, a bit rebellious it's defining the law of nature and at the end a bit sad.

4. The message is that even something that is unpleasant and ugly like the concrete still possesses beauty which is the rose so just judging something by the way it's look is wrong and that everyone is the same, no one is better the other.

5. Tupac uses the metaphor of the rose and the concrete to criticize and rebel against racism
